An accident occurs at Chia-kai’s residence, prompting Ta-wei to come and handle the situation. While there, he notices something unusual about the single father and his son living upstairs.

Chia-kai moves into Ta-wei’s home and starts working part-time at the police station. From then on, their days are filled with playful bickering as they gradually begin to look out for each other.

Chia-kai shows up for work at the police station wearing Ta-wei’s clothes, nearly exposing the secret that they are living together!

Chia-kai gives Ta-wei a dining voucher for a popular restaurant, but a mix-up leads the two of them to unexpectedly share a “couples’ set meal.”

Chia-kai’s ability to see connections evolves, allowing him to uncover what people truly think. Even Da-wei’s secret nearly gets exposed!

A cold war emerges between Chia-kai and Da-wei over a minor misunderstanding. Da-wei discovers that he is the one and only person Chia-kai has ever been “connected” to.

After sobering up, Chia-kai has no memory of what happened the night before, leaving Da-wei even more awkward as the tension between them subtly heats up.

Chia-kai suddenly loses his ability to see the connections between people. After moving out of Da-wei’s home, the two find themselves in yet another heated argument.

Chia-kai finally learns why Da-wei has distanced himself from his family. The two also make an unexpected discovery.

On New Year’s Eve, Chia-kai follows the connection between them to find Da-wei, leading them back to the rooftop where they first met.

While searching for a new home, Chia-kai and Da-wei meet a landlord who can also see the “connections.” The landlord warns them that trouble may be brewing in their relationship.
